Technical Viability:
The following is core to the service:
Back-end development:
- Questionnaire development: Determining the right questions to ask that is best able to determine the requirements of the user. Both quantitative (Questionnaires) and qualitative (Focus groups) will be conducted on technical experts and consumers to develop the optimal questionnaire.
- System development will be core to ensuring that the questions answered is optimally matched to the right technology.
The system will link with the product database of the retailers via an ftp server allowing information too constantly and automatically be updated. The technical specification will be extracted as meta-data and matched by the system (System development)
Front-end development:
Website and mobile application will be designed that resembles the brand identity in terms of visual stimulus and usability (I.e. easy navigation)
Both back and front-end development will be tested on consumers and can be amended accordingly if need be before commencement of the service.
On-going R&D will be conducted to;
- Modify questionnaire to make it more relevant (Better be able to find the right technology that best matches the requirements of the user)
- Find new product categories to add to the system
The business will be operated virtually (I.e. online and via mobile application). The domain name easybuy.co.za is already acquired and no office is initially required to keep start-up cost to a minimum.
The success of the venture depends on finding a web technician to develop the system. Web technician will be responsible for all operating requirements that have to do with the development and maintenance of the system. Due to the importance of this responsibility and in order to keep start-up and initial operating cost at a minimum, the technician will be approached to be a partner, issuing shares to the person (amount dependent on the value that can potentially be created by the person).
